StepManiax is an upcoming fitness game designed to take existing "machine dance" concepts and breathe fresh life into traditional gym techniques.
Scope of work included original UI mockups, exporting assets to engine compatible formats, creating the in-engine UI and animations, 3D modeling, and scripting interactions. This project involved taking the traditional UI design of rhythm games relying on buttons for navigation, and adapting it to a touchscreen-only interface. The project needed to be easily accessible by those unfamiliar with products in this genre while also offering the customization options that long-time players are looking for.
